There’s nothing more beautiful than the Candlelight Service at Immanuel on Christmas Eve Night! We invite you to join us in our yearly tradition. Bring friends and family and sing to the Christ Child with familiar Christmas hymns. Experience splendid melodies from our choirs and musicians. Take in the sights and smells of twinkling lights and evergreens.
SUNDAY MORNING NOTE: Because of the two Evening Candlelight Services at 5:00 and 7:00 pm, we will have ONLY ONE MORNING worship service at 10:00 am on Christmas Eve, with no Bible Classes or Sunday School that day.
Hear the Christmas Gospel from the mouths of the angels, from the shepherds, and from Jesus’ mother Mary. Ponder Pastor Chris‘ message, which is sure to bring focus, clarity and meaning to your Christmas Evening.
For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. And this will be a sign for you: you will find a baby wrapped in swaddling cloths and lying in a manger. (Luke 2:11-12 ESV)
The Christmas Eve Service concludes with the whole congregation holding candles and singing “Silent Night.” Whether you’re a member or a visitor, you won’t want to miss it. Come home to Immanuel Lutheran Church on Christmas Eve. There is a place for you here.
