LWML Women’s Ministry
Immanuel has an active Women’s Ministry focused on fulfilling the mission of our congregation to be “Grounded in Christ, Guided by Grace, and Growing to Serve.” Our women’s group, called the “Lutheran Women’s Missionary League” or LWML, meets monthly for Bible study and a meal, and several other times throughout the year in a variety of ways to serve our church, community and world, growing in faith together. Our Lutheran Women in Mission are always ready to welcome new women — young and old — into their group!
The Lutheran Women’s Missionary League (LWML) is an official auxiliary of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod. For over 77 years, the LWML has focused on affirming each woman’s relationship with Christ, encouraging and equipping women to live out their Christian lives in active mission ministries and to support global missions.
Mission Statement
The mission of the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League is to assist each woman of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod in affirming her relationship with the Triune God so that she is enabled to use her gifts in ministry to the people of the world.
Vision Statement
The LWML is the leading group for LCMS women where each woman is welcomed and encouraged to use her unique God-given gifts as she supports global missions and serves the Lord with gladness.
